Introducing Our New and Improved CPP40121 Cert IV in Residential Drafting

Built Form Design Academy have been a pioneer in the industry, being the only college to offer the Cert IV in Building Design Drafting for the past 4 years.

We have always believed that providing students with a strong foundation in drafting and CAD skills helps to get students into the industry faster and, helps them navigate the Building Design Diploma more successfully if they decide to continue their studies.

The success of our students who have undertaken this pathway is testament to our belief. Most graduates have gained employment in the industry, either before, or immediately after completion. And one of our diploma student has recently won awards for her first diploma project after completing the Cert IV in Building Design Drafting.

Introducing Our New and Improved CPP40121 Cert IV in Residential Drafting

Our new CPP40121 Cert IV in Residential Drafting is:

BFDA is currently the only college offering the CPP40121 Cert IV in Residential Drafting

All other institutions offer only the Diploma of Building Design which requires you to learn all of the foundational CAD and drafting skills whilst also learning to design which can be overwhelming and most often leads to a high drop out rate.

Students have the option upon completion of the Cert IV in Residential Drafting to continue their studies with the Building Design Diploma of which, the Cert IV counts as recognition of prior learning.
